Literacy Intervention

The intervention methods I use with children and adults who are struggling to develop / acquire their literacy skills are based on the well-researched and proven Orton-Gillingham approach - which requires a multisensory teaching methodology. As such, I draw upon an utilise a combination of:

  • The Lindamood-Bell program

  • Jolly Phonics program

  • Speech Sound Pics program

  • Cued Articulation

  • Vocabulary Enhancement

  • Phonological Awareness

If there is additional difficulties with constructing sentences and / narratives I draw upon the Shape Coding methodology and other language development strategies.​
